Rolfing® Structural Integration Definition in 87 words.

Rolfing Structural and Movement Integration is a method for improving consciousness and awareness of how we use our bodies within the field of gravity which influences us all.  The method also actually improves the structure and function of the body by changing it through manual therapy so that consciousness and awareness are more easily obtained, beyond movement cues.  This method facilitates efficiency of the body in releasing excess tension and improving balanced function of the neuro-musculo-skeletal system in everyday life or performance including sports, music, and dance.
